Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild all models and makes of Cummins engines in a timely manner in accordance with published standard repair time (SRT)
• Remove and install engines in equipment chassis
• Remove and install components on engines, in and out of chassis
• Perform the administrative functions of documenting the worked performed
• Read, understand and apply electrical diagrams/schematics
• Make service calls to contact customers in a polite and professional manner
• Maintain present and future training requirements for position

Functional/Technical Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years experience in repair of diesel engines • Vo-tech graduate of a related field preferred • Ability to interpret a repair work order, requisition parts and supplies and complete necessary reporting to accomplish the required repairs • Ability to read instructions and communicate effectively with employees and customers • Organizational skills to maintain an inventory of parts, supplies and literature • Ability to work safely around live voltage and operating engines • Excellent customer support skills • Ability to use a laptop computer and related computer programs • Have valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and acceptable driving record • Travel to and from customers’ sites in provided vehicle to perform work. May require overnight stays • Have own set of tools Physical Requirements • Ability to lift 25-100lbs and use proper lifting tools and techniques • Bending, stretching, standing, kneeling, twisting and climbing on equipment throughout work • Wear safety equipment at all times and perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner EEO/AA Employer
