Description

We are currently looking for Automotive Service Technicians. The auto tech is responsible for performing repair activities.

Primary Position Accountabilities and Job Duties

Repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust systems, air conditioning, steering / suspension systems, maintenance services, tires, and wheel alignment
Adequately explain mechanical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include teammates and customers on an as-required basis
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions in order to stay or become proficient in automotive diagnosis and repair
Keep store management aware of service area mechanical repair problems as they occur
Perform vehicle inspection / courtesy checks as required following current BFRC inspection procedure manual
Maintain A.S.E. certifications
FCAC certifications completed and current

Minimum Position Qualifications Required


2 years technical education in automotive repair or 2 years of automotive repair experience
1 A.S.E. certification or equivalent Car Dealer Certification currently held is highly preferred or willing to get certified
A.S.E. Certified within 2 testing periods of employment in at least 1 of the following areas:
o Engine Repair
o Suspension & Steering
o Brakes
o Electrical Systems
o Heating & Air Conditioning
o Electrical Systems
o Engine Performance
